Our authenticators assess every aspect of every item we represent, to ensure they meet the luxury houses’ standards of excellence. The quality of stitching, leather & material, stamping, coding & numbering, hardware and overall assembly is inspected, amongst many other factors.

Blue Spinach stands by our authenticators and processes, and the authenticity of every piece sold. The authentication process not only involves the meticulous examination of an item, but additionally substantiates the provenance to support the authenticity. Where necessary, we backup our product authentication process with the use of Entrupy. Entrupy is the world’s first and only available on-demand authentication solution. It involves using an Entrupy mobile device to take a series of images, including macro-images, that are evaluated with AI against an extensive database to reach a determination. Entrupy is a leader in the authentication industry and they possess an extremely high accuracy rate of 99.1%. Blue Spinach has had a long term partnership with Entrupy, which we use in conjunction with our in house processes.

For items where Entrupy is not available, such as jewellery, we backup our product authentication process with the use of Real Authentication. Real Authentication provides online, designer authentication services for over 100 brands. This works by submitting images of a product to their website, which is then sent off to their team of global, highly trained brand experts to assess the authenticity. Every aspect of an item is analysed and reviewed by two or more authenticators. Additionally, the product images are run through Real Authentication’s proprietary Smart Database Scan technology. We place a high priority on luxury authentication, making it a central focus of our work.
